At Homestead Design Build, we’ve had the privilege of turning dream homes into reality for our clients. But this project was something special—because it was our own. We’re used to creating spaces for others, but crafting our own European cottage-inspired new build in Langley, BC was an experience that allowed us to pour all our love, creativity, and expertise into a home for our own family.

When we started planning our home, we knew we wanted it to be a true reflection of our style—inviting, timeless, and filled with character. We’ve always been drawn to the charm of European cottages, with their elegant simplicity and warm, cozy feel. So, we set out to create a home that combined this classic aesthetic with the modern functionality that suits our family’s lifestyle.
The home’s design features clean lines, soft neutral tones, and classic materials that create a balance between timeless beauty and the comforts of modern living. From the exterior to the interiors, every detail was chosen to reflect the warmth and coziness of a European cottage, while still maintaining a contemporary edge.
